We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or full payment details. All payment processing is handled securely by Dodo Payments.

1.2 License & Device Information

To validate your license and prevent abuse, we collect:

• A unique device identifier (hardware ID) for license activation
• Application version number
• Operating system type and version

1.3 Usage Analytics

We collect minimal, anonymized usage data to improve Chatimate:

• Feature usage frequency (e.g., number of videos created)
• Error and crash reports
• Application performance metrics

This data is fully anonymized and cannot be linked back to your identity.

• Screen recordings or screenshots

4. Local Processing

Chatimate is a desktop application. Your videos, prompts, code, and creative assets are processed and stored entirely on your local machine. We never upload, access, or store your creative content on our servers.

AI model API calls (e.g., to generate Remotion code from prompts) are sent directly from your machine to the AI provider you configure in the app. Chatimate does not proxy, log, or store these requests.
